Legit stream of Marimite season 1 [Sep. 8th, 2010|03:53 pm]

Nozomi/TRSI are streaming Marimite season 1 at http://www.youtube.com/nozomient
It's subtitled (with the subtitle track that includes honorifics), and it looks like they'll be putting up one episode per week (with the first two staying up indefinitely and subsequent episodes staying up for a limited time?).

If you live in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia or New Zealand, now's your chance to catch a legit stream of the show! (The Anime Network also has a listing for Marimite but doesn't appear to have any episodes available for streaming.)

yuri hime

I am going to start buying yuri hime since it's starting to go bi-monthly. I am thinking of buying from j-list since they offer a subscription to it. I was just wondering if you think this is right place to buy it from? Also do you know if they are going to have a special edition for the upcoming release and what retailers are going to offer it? Thanks for your time. Keep up the good work!

Re: yuri hime

J-List sounds like a fine place to buy it from.
Last year, I subscribed directly from the company that puts out the magazine, but you need to use a Japanese address or mail forwarding service for that. I'm not even sure if they will be offering subscriptions this year.
You can also purchase the magazine from Amazon Japan. The only other place I know of that used to sell it was Akadot Retail, and they don't seem to have any issues in stock anymore.
I don't think there will be a special edition of the next issue. Occasionally, there are special flyers that come with Yuri Hime books (if you buy them from the bookstore Tora no Ana, for example), but that's about it. Last year's direct subscription of the magazine came with a special Petit Yuri-Hime 2010 booklet, but I haven't seen anything about whether they'll be doing that again.
